Regulations:

  • Newspapers, colored sheets and wires, etc. will be provided to the participants.
  • Teams can bring their own sheets, scissors, dispensers, and adhesive; anything else is not allowed. Prefolded sheets are not allowed.
  • 1 Junk/waste item will be given to the participating teams that they need to use prominently, which will be different from the costume materials provided. Example: Globe, gun etc.

Description:

Individual event where participants need to sketch a scene in front of them.
  • The scene will be a wide area to accommodate all the participants from different IITs simultaneously and to add variations to their submissions.

Regulations:

  • Medium: Graphite pencils (will be provided if necessary)
  • Drawing Sheet:- Off-White A3 sheet (Cartridge sheet quality)
  • Participants may bring their own drawing items like pencils, erasers, tissue paper, cotton and sharpener.
  • Use of scale is not allowed in live sketching
  • A thick cardboard will be provided, that can serve as a base while drawing.
  • Participants can bring some kind of base(for support, for example an A3 sized sketchbook, a cardboard, etc.) on which they can keep the A3 sheet we will provide.
  • No external help (eg. internet/photograph on phone or camera) is allowed during the event.
  • As this is an individual event with more than one participant per IIT, the ranking will be according to General Rules.

Description:

Charcoal art on sheet kept on the ground

Theme will be provided on the spot.

Regulations:

  • Teams will be provided with four A1 sized sheets (off-white cartridge sheet). The sheets will have to be pasted together by the team as they wish and kept on the ground to draw upon.
  • Charcoal pencils, kneaded and rubber erasers, sharpeners, thread for measurement, scales(30 cm) and charcoal stick will be provided.
  • The team may align the four sheets as they wish, but all of them have to be used.
  • Use of materials other than provided is strictly prohibited
  • Use of Internet is not allowed

  • Participants need to bring their own paints and brushes.
  • Participants may bring other needful stationery such as painting knives, palettes, fixative and driers.

Regulations:

  • No entries will be accepted after the deadline.
  • Participants need to send their work in the .psd, .ai that they have used along with the .jpeg file of the same, with at least three stages of their work.
  • Any sign of plagiarism may lead to disqualification.
  • The submission should be in the form of a compressed folder containing the final draft & description and a separate subfolder containing raw files.
  • The main folder should be named as [IIT_name][Participant_Name] (e.g. [IIT_Roorkee][Anshul_Dekate]) and mailed to the E-mail ID provided.

Onsite event. The team has to do the rebranding according to the problem statement.

Regulations:

  • The problem statement will be provided at the time of the event.
  • The teams will be required to provide the Redesign of the logo along with its applications.
  • The teams will be required to provide the Collaterals including visiting cards, email template, etc.
  • The teams will be required to provide the Deliverables for advertisement including posters, flyers, etc.
  • The teams must also provide an accompanying statement explaining the perks of using the rebranding.
  • Teams must bring their own laptops and any other accessories required (like mice, graphic tablets, etc.)
  • Charging points for laptops and an internet connection will be provided.
